The revival journey began إبتدأت رحلة الإحياء

For the first time in the festival's history in more than 28 years, the Old Town site has been certified as a significant working site. On the first day of the volunteers' work, there are five major operational sites, two sites are managed by the Engineering Commune Team.

للمرة الأولى منذ 28 عام تم اعتماد البلدة القديمة في فرخة كموقع رئيسي للعمل التطوعي في مهرجان فرخة للعمل التطوعي، تم تقسيم المتطوعات/ين على 5 مواقع عمل رئيسية، يدير طاقم التعاونية الأعمال الهندسية في موقعين.

Physical work has historically been associated with another kind of happiness, the actual and real production that human beings brings to the world; today, we have experienced this feeling again, but this time in a Farkha, our dream that grows with the efforts of volunteers and the faithful of the principles of cultural heritage preservation.

دائماً يرتبط العمل الفيزيائي بنوع مختلف من السعادة، الإنتاج الفعلي والحقيقي الذي يقدمه الإنسان للعالم، اليوم اختبرنا مجدداً هذا الشعور ولكن هذه المرة في قرية فرخة، حلمنا الذي يكبر بفضل جهود المتطوعات/ين والمخلصات/ين لمبادئ حفظ التراث الثقافي المعماري.

We have been working on cleaning and trimming trees in Farkha since last year. On a yearly basis, village volunteers have cleaned up the Old Village, but this is the first time they have begun work with the objectives of revitalising through prior planning and engineering supervision.

Also for the first time, work will be done using traditional restoration techniques for the works of stones building, grouting, plastering and others items.

عملنا خلال العام الماضي في تنظيف الأحواش وتقليم الأشجار، وفي كل عام يقوم المتطوعون المحليون في القرية بتنظيف البلدة القديمة، ولكن للمرة الأولى بدأ العمل من خلال خطط الإحياء المبدأية، وبإشراف هندسي، وبإستخدام تقنيات الترميم التقليدية لأعمال بناء الحجر، الكحلة، القصارة وغيرها من الأعمال.

We cleaned Abd Al-Raziq Housh and some parts of Al-Khatib Housh today, preparing the major square of the old village for the Heritage Day, and we are preparing Beit Al-Mokhtar (which will be known as the Joint Centre) for restoration work in the coming days. Today, three volunteer teams completed approximately 60 hours of voluntary work in the Old Village.

اليوم قمنا بتنظيف الساحة الداخلية لحوش عبد الرازق، وبعض اجزاء من حوش الخطيب، بالإضافة لتجهيز بيت المختار (سيعرف لاحقاً بإسم مركز المشروع) لإستقبال اعمال الترميم في الأيام القادمة، قدم المتطوعات/ين اليوم ما يقارب 60 ساعة عمل تطوعي في البلدة القديمة.
