The Future is NOW!

See Farkha's future Playscape. After a long phase of intensive talks to prepare a common vision with the whole village, we felt comfortable enough to design its future. We propose a fun and explorative new learning path, connecting the school with the Youth center (restoration of Dar Moukhtar), providing children and families with plenty of opportunities to enjoy themselves. A playground, the transformation of the taboon into an exhibition of female contribution to the village, an outdoor class/ plaza and a communal kitchen with a picnic space right next to it will be the portal in the East to our new future. In the north, we transform the ruin of the old school once again into a place of youth and joy, with teenagers playing backgammon will enjoying the view. Altogether, it is only the beginning of a new future for the village, that brings back old glory while fulfilling the new need of the village.
