Children & Adolescents Club 

What is it about?

Our future lays in the hands of our children. And in case of Farkha, even more than our future. To secure the ancient history of village, everybody involved understood very quickly that we have to introduce our youngest community members to our little treasure, so they take care of it and learn to love it the same way we do.

As such, Al Khawabi Children's and Adolescents Club primary objective is to raise children's awareness of the importance of heritage and to achieve effective intergenerational communication. Only through that, we can ensure the sustainability and realisation of the strategic objectives of the restoration project.

The club was formed out of the incredible participation of young children in one of our events. The children’s interest encouraged us to create a space in which children not only learn about the historic town, but also share their wishes and needs to create a common vision. On of the first goals of the club is the contribution for the proposal of a lively space to play for Farkha’s children. Together with the restoration of an historic building into he headquarters of a children's and adolescents center, we will ensure the permanent link between Farkha and its youngest inhabitants.
