Become a volunteer
Reviving a whole town is a mammoth task, but together as a team, everything is possible. Palestine's history is full of acts of cooperation and selflessness. In fact, every village was built in a collective effort. For re-erecting one of these testimonies of community, we are aiming to follow in our ancestor's footsteps by working together in a selfless act of volunteering.

But this does not work without people like you. Be part of this vision and help us as a volunteer. We are still in the beginning of our mission and there is something for everybody: architects, social workers, but also archeologist, social media experts and craftsmen. Even though, we are asking for particular professions in the following list, every skill, idea and profession is asked to make our vision reality. So, feel free to contact us, if you want to become a volunteer.

architects & engineers
Your are interested in planning a creative, adaptive use for historic buildings, then you are at the right place. Your tasks vary from drawing construction plans for destroyed buildings to creating a masterplan for the whole town. The more time you have, the greater will be your responsibility.

social worker & educators
We need to listen to the wishes of Farkha's inhabitants and you can be our ears. For our participative workshops and also educational events, we need people like you, who are interested in working close with the inhabitants.

artists & musicians
Palestine's peasant culture is full of everyday poetry. We want to embrace and support this spirit in Farkha and create new spaces for creativity. A concert, a writing course or a sculpture - help us with your idea to make Farkha a heaven of the arts and the inhabitants its angels.

craftsmen & gardener
Palestine's villages were not constructed by an architects or engineers, but rather out of skilled hands of craftsmen. We need your expertise in construction, planting and so much more. Come and teach Farkha's inhabitants how to construct a brighter future for themselves.

We are sure that Farkha will become a place of thousand faces. But to make this happening, we need skilled planer like you, who plan and execute interesting events and make new cooperations happening.
